This project was developed with the help of the Graphic Designer Enrique Montes. Working together we developed a project that guides the user through the high school buildings. The project central concept is to guide the user through a system of signs; its topology is divided within two groups: Guides and Goals.

Guides
Needle
The objective was to create an innovative but functional system that would make it easier to transport oneself through the high-school. We translated that concept into the floor, where a map of the school and of the city of Oaxaca indicates your location.
As a needle in a map, this object expresses location.

Directory
This object was developed to welcome the user to the high-school building. It has a map of the school and an area for announcements for the faculty and the alumni.

Banner
When the user is inside the building the banner indicates the nearest goals and points of interest. The ergonomic advantage of being hanging from the ceiling helped us complete our functionality requirements. We built one and two line banners.

Goals
Generic Goal
The goal was designed to facilitate its visibility within the stretch hallway. We implemented a form that allowed a read from either side. The Sign is composed of easy manufacturable pieces and was fast to mount on the High School walls.
The Dean of the school wanted a goal sign that could change with time. On top of the black area, the classroom is identified with a code. The aluminum part is divided between the pictogram and name of the goal. It's easy to disassemble and change to a different classroom or office.
The sign is visible from either side of the hallway.

Miscellaneous
A collection of different signage was developed to compile with the different functions of the building.
